Healing: The Ultimate Goal

AEDS envisions a community and even a world without eating disorders. This dream requires a plan of collaboration, dedication, and compassion. Our plan includes four key components where professionals are working along side community members to bring about healing.
 

Advancement: Professional Development
Professional development for clinicians from all disciplines focused primarily in the field of eating disorders diagnosis and treatment.
 

Advocacy: Recovery
Providing treatment resources and referrals for individuals suffering with an eating disorder and their loved ones.
 

Awareness: Prevention
Increasing knowledge and understanding of eating disorders in the community and families
 

Activism: Community
Working to change the cultural and media messages, which contribute to Eating Disorders development in society.
